FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions:

1.  Do I need to send you my frame through a FFL?

No. I am a FFL, you can ship your firearm directly to me and I will ship it directly back to you.

2. How should I ship my frame?

Use whichever carrier you prefer and be familiar with their shipping rules.  Customers typically use UPS and FedEx.  FedEx works easiest for me as their hub is nearby.

3. How do I order?

Contact us with any questions, we typically return messages within hours.  Print out this FORM for SLIDE WORK and/or this FORM for STIPPLING WORK, fill it out and return the form in with your slide or frame when sending it to us, along with a check payable to "Delta Strategic or Tim Eliopoulos" (unless electronic payment method -Venmo, Apple, Zelle, Google- or Credit Card arrangements were made).  For stippling, you can pay once your frame is done.  Send it to:

Tim Eliopoulos

1096 Morning Glory Dr

Macedonia, OH 44056

4.  Can I drop my frame off at your shop?  What are your shop hours?

Absolutely.  By appointment only.

5.  What is your current turnaround time?

Contact us for most current turn around times, but typically the following are a good estimate:

     - Optic Cut only is approximately 3 weeks.

     - Stippling approximately 3 - 5 weeks.

     - Slide milling approximately 4-12 weeks ( large range as a lot of variables come into play).

6.  Do I need to strip my frame and/or slide of all parts?

If you strip it yourself then go for it; if not we will do it for you.  Depending on what needs to be removed and reinstalled there could be an armory fee, we will let you know upfront.  Typically we do this for free, just depends on the gun.

7.  Can I buy a gun online and have it shipped directly to you for work?

Sure, and we do not charge an FFL fee for that.

8.  Can I buy a gun, optic or part through you ?

Yep, we have access to wholesale prices on guns and accessories.

9.  Do I have to use your store to make a purchase? Can I just email or call it in?

Absolutely, we realize there are many different options regarding custom work. Thee easiest way is to use the printable forms and not the store for custom work.  Sometimes it's just easier to email or call.  I can invoice your directly once we figure out what you want.

10.  How do I pay?

Best way is to fill out the forms as described above. We can accept credit cards online and over the phone (3.5%), check, Apple Pay, Zelle, Google Pay or Venmo works fine. Request information for each. For electronic versions never add notes (NOTHING) as they are all anti 2a.

We will work with you within reason, but if you do not pay within 30 days of being notified that your items is ready to ship back to you then your money and item can be forfeited.  Again, I'm not here to take anything from anyone.  If you are having an issue just communicate with me.

12.  Can you repair a bad stippling job?

Not our wheelhouse; we have made some exceptions but rarely.

13.  How much do you charge for FFL or SBR / Suppressor transfers ?

$20 per item for standard firearms; $75 for suppressors and short barrels; $150 for machine guns.

14.  I'm local to you, can I use you as an FFL for an online order if I am not getting any work done?

Yep.  We charge a $20 FFL fee IF that is all you need.  If you are getting work done, the FFL fee is waived.

15.  SHIPPING POLICY

The firearm is required to be delivered to an authorized dealer for the presentation of the buyers FFL  License, for authorized transfer of the firearm.

16.  MOST IMPORTANT - NO EXCEPTIONS! - Can I return my purchase?

Typically the answer is no, in some instances depending on where it was purchased and price you paid (you cannot expect wholesale pricing and free returns).  Some places will allow us to return items but there is a 25% restocking fee and you are responsible for returning the item to us.  For firearms, there is absolutely no returns.  All warranties are honored by the manufacturer and directly through them.  We can help you get in contact if you do not know how.
